Because every piece at Happy Carats is custom handcrafted just for you, we do not accept returns as a general policy.
Each diamond and setting is individually tailored to your specifications, making every creation uniquely yours.
However, if you are adamant in seeking a return, we want to be fair and supportive. We offer a conditional return with a 37% restocking fee.
This restocking fee reflects the significant costs we incur in producing, handling, and reselling bespoke pieces - and in most cases, it means we are taking a financial loss.
We sincerely hope you understand, and we appreciate your trust in us.
Our ultimate goal is simple: to make every customer genuinely happy.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

At Happy Carats, every diamond is uniquely born — no two are ever exactly alike. The diamond you select will closely match your chosen carat size and specifications, but slight natural variations may occur. Thanks to our exceptional quality and highly affordable prices, our inventory moves quickly and often sells out monthly. But don’t worry — if your selected piece is unavailable, we’ll personally reach out via email or WhatsApp to share available options from our current inventory or newly born lab diamonds, ready to be shaped and cut just for you. Ring Sizing Policy: If your ring does not fit correctly due to an error on our part, we will cover all costs for resizing and shipping. However, if you decide you would like to change your ring size after receiving your piece, there will be a $100 resizing fee. Refunds & Warranty: Please note that each piece is custom-made specifically for you, so we do not typically accept returns. However, if you still wish to proceed with a return, we offer a conditional return with a 37% restocking fee. This restocking fee reflects the significant costs we incur in producing, handling, and reselling bespoke pieces - and in most cases, it means we are taking a financial loss. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

Due to every product customized for you, we do not offer exchanges.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
